I look forward to practice in this independently curated, awe-inspiring space. Additionally, the practice is led by two amazingly gifted yoga teachers, Kendall Beene and Erin Lambright, co-founders of New Yoga Now, and I am just so grateful to have these two in my life. Roll out your mat next to mine at Laney Contemporary Fine Art. This space has been on my hometown wanderlist ever since I laid my eyes on a cover of Savannah Magazine where Emily Testa featured those insanely vibrant doors. I fell in love and I can’t wait to move, breathe, and set drishti upon the works of En Plein Air, a solo exhibition from artist, Will Penny. En Plein Air could very well be the guru here. Penny acknowledges, “a search for the sublime or a deepening experience with the act of perception is a journey rather than a finish line.” I can’t wait to feel and hear NYN’s refreshingly abstract translation of this journey of seeking on the yogic path.
